Hylo tears are one of the most popular brands of preservative-free artificial tears, and come in a patented multi-dose bottle. They are among the most comfortable drops to instill and produce minimal blurring following instillation. They contain the sodium salt of Hyaluronic Acid, which has a unique property of containing water, and is naturally present throughout our bodies, in our joints, cartilage and in our eyes. Hylo tears provide long term moisture to the ocular surface, which helps address stinging, burning, irritation, and foreign body sensation, which can occur with dry eyes from environmental conditions or following eye surgery. Hylo Tears can be used while wearing contact lenses and also to re-wet contact lenses. They are safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding. The bottles contain 10 mL and approximately 300 eye drops.
